When the British slaughter her family in the days leading up to the Irish Uprising of 1798, Irish Catholic Reanna O'Neil, born into a life of servitude and compliance, becomes hell-bent on revenge.
Britain's Protestant King rules Ireland with a heavy hand, seizing their property, outlawing their religion and education, leaving them impoverished and on the run from his cruel Penal Laws.
Catholics who refuse to convert or pledge affection and loyalty to his throne, suffer soul-crushing consequences.
Seeds of a burgeoning uprising are being planted and the wearing or displaying of the color green, a sign of resistance, is treason punishable by death.
When Catholic teen Reanna O'Neal is attacked and brutalized by a drunken British noble, she fights back in self-defense and unintentionally kills him.
Fleeing for her life, with a price on her head, she is doggedly pursued by a sadistic British Officer who's hot on her tail and out for blood.

Dustin has recently been accepted into PAC, Portland's prestigious Acting Conservatory and we expect a bright future for him! In this audio recording, Dustin provides the voice of the narrator, pub drunk, Mr. Graham, and Hennessy.
MORGAN E BARCZ
From LA, after earning her Theater Arts degree, Morgan continued her performance studies in Arezzo, Italy perfecting Mask Work and Commedia Dell'Arte. Reanna is the voice of Reanna O'Neal as well as Nora in this production. Morgan is also a performer with Eddie May Mysteries, starring as Moxie Heart in their production of "Great Gatsby it's Murder!" as well as performing in "The 39 Steps", "Cabaret", "16 Wounded" and "To Kill a Mockingbird" with a variety of production companies.
Californian, Nick's work as an actor and director, has taken him from San Francisco to the Phillipines. In the Pacific NW where he collaborates with the "We Players" and the "Shotgun Players", two of San Francisco's most exciting theater companies, and Portland's Curious Comedy Theater. He has played all role in "Hamlet" and now has his sights set on film and TV. Nick plays Captain Tredwell, Padraic, Tommy, The Mister, the Fish Vendor, Barry, Minister, Donald, Bandy, Cart teen and Peep O'Boy leader.
Brandon is a fresh and vibrant new voice talent with versatility, charisma and precision. After playing sold-out shows as Friedrich Von Trapp in "The Sound of Music", Brandon currently performs with Eddie May Mysteries as Detective Eddie May. His eight year professional singing career, signing with Metal Blade Records, set the tone for his wide range of vocal capabilities. In Wearing of the Green, Brandon is the voice of the British Official, Danny, Patrick, Potato Vendor, the Minister, Casey, Michael, Wolfe-Tone, Thompson, Billy Boy, French Officer and the Armagh Vendor.
Jennifer is both an actor and musician who has spent the last five years touring the country with her band "Run Bou, Run!" Her group was twice featured on "A Prairie Home Companion", sparking her interest in radio and podcast recording. This talented performer has also appear in stage productions with Twilight Theater, Rose City Shakespeare Company, Nutz & Boltz Theeater, and the Ralph Radio Theater Company. Jennifer performs as Siobhan as well as Catherine, Church woman, Mary Casey, the woman at Hennessey's and the opening narration.
A graduate of the Meisner Acting Program at the Gately/Poole Acting Conservatory, Janet is an accomplished performer and comedy writer, performing and writing comedy for a variety of Production companies, including Curious Comedy Theater, Rosie Rose Productions, Bad Reputation Productions and on TV performing in season 7 of Portlandia. Janet plays Lady Ellen, Colleen, Maire, the dishevelled woman, Mrs. O'Regan, and Mrs. Finn.
Rachel comes from a long line of entertainers going back to the days of Vaudeville and her grandfather Tot O'Regan. She is a comedy writer by profession, and the executive producer of Eddie May Mysteries, where her plays have performed in over 30 countries. She wrote Wearing of the Green, in fulfillment of a promise made to her mother (of blessed memory) to turn her final work "In the midst of darkness" into a screenplay. In the midst of darkness was released for publication 2 weeks after Colleen's death. This screenplay, Wearing of the Green is the result of that promise made to her mother.

What I appreciated most about this screenplay was that it told a story that needs to be
told more. From what I remember in the history classes I have taken, the historical feud
between the English and the Irish was a significant one, and rarely do I have the chance
to experience this in any sort of artistic expression. In fact, off the top of my head, I
cannot think of a film portrayal of this conflict besides a documentary I saw a few
months back. So, I take my hat off to the writer for composing together a narrative about
a subject that needs more light shed upon it.
I also loved how engaging the script was. From the very beginning all the way to the
end, I was completely intrigued by what was going on and had a great time both
educating myself and being wrapped up in the fates of these characters. The film was
both entertaining and extremely heavy, and I believe the writer did a fantastic job
balancing those two characteristics.
The descriptions were almost pitch-perfect in regards to screenplay fundamentals.
These paragraphs should only be sight and sound, and the writer executed this nearly
flawlessly. As the reader, I was able to just envision and hear everything that was going
on and I was able to fill in the blanks myself, indicating that the writer is giving room for
the director to express her/his own creative fervor.
I also loved how unflinching the entire piece felt. Never once did I think “the writer is
holding back here.” I thought the writer, for the most part, treated this historically
impactful period with respect, knowledge and authenticity. There are a lot of blatant,
gruesome and blunt deaths, and the writer seems to not be interested at all in
sugarcoating any of the facts.
It is the role of the artist to be honest with what they are creating, especially when it
comes to historical narratives where hundreds of thousands of families and loved ones
have been and are still affected by what occurred in the past. And through these terrible
images that the writer manifested and the no-punches-pulled approach she utilizes, the
writers accentuates her awareness of this throughout. And by the end of it, I believe that
I felt a majority of the emotional thrust that was intended to be put out there.
The writer did a fantastic job telling a story that needs a bigger spotlight.
I admire how, from beginning to end, the writer never let up with the decision to be authentic with the material and to be unflinching with the images.
I would definitely catch this in theatre. Nice work!"
